GOLD IS LOYOLA ACADEMY'S FIRST VARSITY TEAM. GOLD COMPETES IN THE MIDWEST PREP HOCKEY LEAGUE AND IN THE HIGH SCHOOL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT.

BHC Tournament - goals were scored by Keefe assisted by Seebeck and N. Schaefer, Kennedy assisted by Seebeck, Warrick assisted by Gavula, Lifvendahl assisted by N. Schaefer, Kennedy assisted by Murray and Keefe, N. Schaefer assisted Seebeck. Reizen was in net with 13 saves.
This win advances Gold to the State Quarter-final game on Monday, March 12 at 8:35 PM at the Edge.
LAG 6 vs Rice Memorial 4 - Keefe ended his MPHL season with a hat trick and assist! His goals were assisted by Hennessy and Lifvendahl, Lifvendahl and Hennessy, Novy. Other goals were scored by Kennedy assisted by Palivos and Lifvendahl, Scholl assisted by Keefe and Hennessy, Kennedy assisted by Lifvendah. O'Reilly was in net with 19 saves.
LAG 1 vs St. Francis 2 - LAG lost in OT to St. Francis. LAG's goal was scored by Gavula assisted by Warrick and Novy. Reizen was in net with 29 saves.
LAG Senior Night Game vs Benet Academy - LAG won 8-2 Seniors with goals include: Palivos assisted by Novy and Murray, Keefe assisted by Scholl and Lavezzorio, Novy assisted by Skarzynski, Novy assisted by Gavula, Gavula assisted by Novy and Warrick, Hennessy unassisted, Murray assisted by Palivos. J. Schaefer also scored assisted by Novy and Warrick. O'Reilly was in net with 14 saves.
Gold's next game vs Phoenix MM is on Saturday, March 3 at 6:10 PM at Heartland.
Gold's 1st Black Hawk Cup State game is on Friday, March 9 at 8:35 PM at the Edge in Bensenville.
