Co-Hosts Loyola and St. Ignatius Battle in Championship Game


The Loyola Academy Gold team won the 2020 Jesuit Cup with a 3-0 shutout win over co-host St. Ignatius

Congratulations to the Loyola Academy Gold team for winning the 2020 Jesuit Cup. Battling co-host St. Ignatius in the championship game on Monday, Jan. 20, LAG posted a 3-0 shutout to win the tournament.

Goals were scored by JC Cervieri (assisted by Johnny Sullivan), Nick Braun (assisted by AJ Cornelison and Cole Musick), and Freddy FitzSimons (assisted by Charley Collopy and Johnny Sullivan). Goaltender Yianno Nikas earned the shutout.

Player of the Game honors were awarded to Nick Braun.

One of the marquee tournaments on the hockey calendar, the Jesuit Cup pulls together top Catholic schools each January for three days of action and excitement.
