LAHC would like to provide an update on the Girls Spring Hockey program in light of recent events. In years past many of the Metro League High School Girls Hockey teams, including Loyola Academy, have participated in a spring league that involved a 3v3 or 4v4 format. However, back in February the majority of schools chose not to participate with some schools opting not to have a spring girls program altogether. Loyola Academy Girls Hockey was prepared to offer our own abbreviated spring program which involved once weekly skills clinics and 4 - 6 weekend games against schools who were interested in participating. Unfortunately, with the recent development and increasing spread of COVID-19, scheduling games has been difficult and it will be for the foreseeable future. Therefore, we are putting the LA Girls Spring Hockey program on hold.
Please continue to check our website for the latest update as we continue to monitor developments. Until then, stay healthy!
