Join us for the 2023 Spring hockey season!  The Loyola Academy Hockey Club will be offering a spring program that will keep players on the ice in a competitive and fun environment, under the guidance and direction of current LAHC Varsity and Junior Varsity coaches. 

Registration is open to all non-seniors who currently skate in the LAHC program, AAA or Tier 2 club players that currently attend Loyola Academy, and all 8th graders that plan on attending Loyola Academy in the Fall of 2023. 

Evaluations for boys teams will take place as listed below.  There are no evaluations for Girls teams.

• March 13, 2023 - Evaluation Assignments Posted
• March 14, 2023 - Session1: 7:00 - 8:00 PM; Session 2: 8:10-9:10PM
• March 15, 2023 -  Session1: 7:00 - 8:00 PM; Session 2: 8:10-9:10PM

Coaches from LAHC teams will be in attendance to evaluate and place players on Spring teams. The teams will be tiered by ability, not every player who signs up will be playing at the same level. The number of participants will determine the number of teams and there is no guarantee of a spot for every interested player or that each player will make the team they desire.  Based on participation in past Spring seasons, we anticipate fielding two Varsity and two Junior Varsity teams.  You must have a Loyola Academy practice jersey to participate in evaluations.  If you do not have one, you will be prompted to purchase it at Spring season registration and will receive it when you arrive for your first session.

BOYS

The Spring season will run April 3rd to May 21 (finished before final exams), the registration fee will cover the following:

• Practices that will start at the beginning of the spring season in April (each team will have 1 per week)
• 10 games against teams Loyola Academy competes with during the winter season. 
• No games/skates April 6-16 Loyola Spring break.
• Registration Fees: Skater $650, Goalie $375

GIRLS VARSITY

• No evaluations, all players will make the team.  
• 1 Practice per week beginning in April
• 4 games against teams Loyola Girls competes with during the winter season
• No skates/games April 6-16 Loyola Spring break
• Registration Fees: Skater - $300  Goalie - $230

We understand that many players have other commitments during the Spring season, and it is understood that your spring sport and academics come first. Our program is meant to be as inclusive as possible, and we are always willing to work with players and families to make it this way.  If you are concerned as to whether or not your player should participate this Spring, please feel free to reach out to Hockey Director DJ La Varre with any questions you might have.

Jersey Fee (only required if you do NOT have a LA Maroon/White practice jersey): $55
