PRE-SEASON LAHC REMINDERS

Season Kickoff Meeting

All players and parents are asked to attend the Season Kickoff Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, August 27th at 7pm in the Performing Arts Theater.  We will have a full-club meeting followed by break out meetings by team.  

SafeSport Training

If you were born in 2007 or earlier - PLEASE NOTE

Players born in 2007 birth year or earlier are required to take the SafeSport Core Training or Refresher Course prior to participation for the 2024-25 season. SafeSport Training must be completed annually.

No players will be allowed to take part in any ice or team activities until SafeSport Training has been completed. In addition, USA Hockey will not allow the LAHC to place any individual born in 2007 or earlier on a hockey roster without SafeSport Training completed.

School Physicals

Players must have up-to-date physicals on file to be able to participate in tryouts and the regular season.  Please log in to your goramblers.org account and click on the Magnus Health tile on the Resource Board to update the necessary paperwork. 

Mandatory Neck Guards

USA Hockey recently passed a mandate that all players starting August 1, 2024, need to wear neck guards. Players will not be allowed on the ice for tryouts without a neck guard so please plan accordingly. 
 

Updated Holiday Travel
We are in the process of finalizing the regular season game schedule and have an update on the game schedule in January.  League games for all boys teams will resume the week of January 6th so we are asking all boys players who are ultimately rostered on Gold, Maroon, JV1 or JV2 to return from any holiday travel by January 3rd, in anticipation of having practice on January 4-5th in advance of games beginning again the week of January 6th.  Please keep this in mind as you contemplate possible holiday travel.
