SUMMER OFF-ICE TRAINING

Loyola Academy Hockey Club will be partnering with Loyola Academy Athletic Department to offer off-ice strength and conditioning sessions four days per week.  These sessions will be run by Jeff Lindeman, who has overseen strength and conditioning for Loyola Athletics for many years with tremendous success.  Jeff has substantial experience with programming that develops strength, speed and agility.  The days and times are listed below and should not interfere with the forthcoming summer skate schedule for those wishing to do both on any given day.  We are also very pleased to let you know that there is no cost for these sessions.

Tuesdays: 11:00-12:00

Wednesdays: 9:30-10:30

Thursdays: 11:00-12:00

Fridays: 9:30-10:30

The sessions will begin June 10th and wrap up on July 25th.  A sign-up link can be found HERE.  All sessions are available to all LAHC players and, while there is not a capacity limit, we would ask that you please register in advance once the link is made available, so that Jeff and his team have visibility on each day’s attendance and can plan accordingly.

These workout sessions will be structured and monitored by Coach Jeff and his staff.  We ask that players come to the sessions on time and are eager to work.  If you are looking for a free-form format, we would encourage you to seek a different alternative.

For those seeking a different format and/or different timing due to summer job conflicts, other sports, etc., last summer many players had a very good experience at GVN (located at North Shore Ice Arena in Northbrook).  While LAHC will not be organizing anything with GVN, please feel free to reach out to Jackson Frey at j.frey@gvnperformance.com or 207.776.1536 if interested.  Please note that GVN is a fee-based program.
