LA JV 7 v York 2. Here is a recap of the game. The first period stated out York’s way. York scored early in the first with a slap shot from outside the blue line that didn’t bode well for Loyola. York scored just past the half-way mark of the period in similar fashion of the power play to take the lead. James Hess rallied Loyola with a tally with 4:30 remaining to end the period with a tie. The game looked like it could go either way.
